Yes, there is no doubt about it: we airplane guys always stop to look at warbirds—specifically, WWII airplanes. Now E-flite has introduced an early WWII Flying Tigers trimmed P-40 Warhawk. This ARF model is a mini airplane but with features from much larger models. It includes some very nice scale items such as panel lines, decal markings, simulated machine guns and more. Flight performance is perfect for intermediate pilots and capable of those classic maneuvers we all dream about. This ARF does include an installed 300 BL brushless outrunner motor so the pilot will only have to supply two servos, a receiver, an ESC and a battery. The assembly is very simple as well. Once again I was able to get Matt Andren, Horizon Hobby product developer, to stop by and show off the features that the E-flite team incorporated into this very lightweight park flyer. Flys really nice for an inexpensive little heli,tail is much better than the original blade cp. Have to set it up with the dx7 for more aggressive flying or keep the loops a little faster and higher lol.
